Reention battery output connector Upgraded HD version

Heavy duty Replacement battery side main power output connector for Hilleater Galiano, Juiced CrossCurrent and other bikes using the Reention Dorado, Reention Atlas and Reention Tigershark DS-4, DS-5, DS-6 battery systems.

The solder lugs on the back are larger, 4.5mm outer and 3mm inner diameter versus the stock part which is 3.4mm outer and 2.5 inner diameter.

The nut has a deep course thread which is less likely to strip out.

The fit is also tighter on the pins when mating with the bike.

Battery fitment problems can lead to a damaged connector on the battery.  Some batteries also had a connector which allowed the metal contacts to slide back, resulting in an intermittent connection.

Replacing this connector is not trivial, on many batteries there is no off switch, the output leads are live at all times so extreme care must be taken when replacing the connector.  There may be a fuse that can be removed inside the battery that will make it safer to work on. Soldering must be done well, as it is easy to damage the new connector with too much heat, and a less than professional soldering job could lead to wires coming loose, and a short circuit in the battery which could damage the battery or even lead to a fire.
