This light came from my on road experience with ebike lights and traffic. I found that adding a really bright flashing rear light during the day led to a better riding experience. The take away was that drivers just don't see bikes! This light will help change that. It is powered from your main ebike battery, so there is no need to separately charge the light
The Hilleater 911 rear light is based on strobe lights that you see on emergency vehicles. It has a steady mode for night time riding (The flashing is too bright at night)
- Voltage input 12-60V, good for 36, 48, or 52V ebikes.
- Power consumption 3.25 watts on steady, less on strobe.
- Comes with handlebar mounted power/mode switch. Fits 7/8" or 22.2mm handlebars.
- Power inlet is a 2 pin Higo male connector, power out to light is on a 3 pin Higo female connector.
- It's 420mm from the switch to the cable Y point. Another 230mm to the power connection, and 280mm to the switched power outlet. This outlet connects to the extension wire that is routed to the rear of your bike to connect the light.
- Comes with a 172cm extension wire to reach the rear of your bike.
- Mounting holes on 4" centers, but comes with a bike rack adapter for 50mm center to center holes.
